This historical book was launched by Duli yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzuan Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah during the Centenary Dinner on the 15th of July 2019. The book traces the 100-year story of the ISP, the oldest registered professional body in the country and its contributions to the plantation sector and the nation.

For a hundred years, The Incorporated Society of Planters (ISP) has advanced the professional interests of the Malayan and Malaysian planter. From humble beginnings in the hearts of three planters meeting in a bungalow in Kajang, the ISP grew quickly into a professional association whose fate has been bound closely to the country it calls home.

The Planters’ Centenary is a book that traces the 100 years that have made ISP what it is today, through agricultural evolutions, political developments and economic journeys.
