ISPM International Senior Management Programme (Batch 6)

The 6th Batch of the ISPM International Senior Management Programme (ISMP) was successfully conducted from 6 to 8 August 2026 at Hotel Emas, Tawau, Sabah, with the final day’s field session conducted at Balung Palm Oil Mill under MKIC.

A total of 16 participants attended the programme, continuing ISPM’s efforts to strengthen leadership and management capabilities among senior plantation executives and industry professionals.

This three-day programme, designed specifically for senior plantation executives and emerging leaders, aimed to strengthen participants’ competencies in management, operations, and leadership. The sessions were delivered by the same esteemed panel of trainers, Dato’ Dr. Mohamad Hashim Ahmad Tajudin, FISP, Dr. Ramesh Veloo, FISP, and Dr. N. M. Thangaraj, who shared their extensive industry experience and practical insights into contemporary plantation management.

Participants took part in interactive classroom discussions, group-based case studies, and practical field assessments, covering key areas such as strategic decision-making, financial and operational analysis, agronomic best practices, leadership development, and succession planning. The final day’s field session at Balung Palm Oil Mill provided participants with valuable practical exposure to actual industry operations, complementing the knowledge gained during the classroom sessions and allowing participants to relate management concepts to real operational environments.

The programme was officiated and closed by Mr. Anthony Tsen Sui Lin, AISP, FISP, Chairman of the ISP Tawau Branch. His presence and support further reinforced ISP’s commitment to continuous professional development and capacity building among plantation professionals.
