The 3rd Batch of the ISPM International Senior Management Programme was successfully conducted from 15 to 17 January 2026, held at Sabah Hotel, Sandakan, Sabah, with the final day’s field session conducted at Nak Estate Mile 19, Sandakan, under Boustead Plantations Berhad.
A total of 29 participants attended this batch, with the majority comprising plantation professionals from Sabah, reflecting strong regional participation and interest in leadership and management development within the plantation sector.
This three-day programme, designed specifically for senior plantation executives and emerging leaders, aimed to strengthen participants’ competencies in management, operations, and leadership. The sessions were delivered by the same esteemed panel of trainers—Dato’ Dr. Mohamad Hashim Ahmad Tajudin, Dr. Ramesh Veloo, and Dr. N. M. Thangaraj—who shared their extensive industry experience and practical insights into contemporary plantation management.
Participants took part in interactive classroom discussions, group-based case studies, and practical field assessments, covering key areas such as strategic decision-making, financial and operational analysis, agronomic best practices, leadership development, and succession planning. The field visit at Nak Estate provided valuable exposure to actual plantation operations, allowing participants to contextualise classroom learning through on-site observations and discussions.
The programme concluded with a closing ceremony officiated by Datuk Haji Daud Amatzin, Chairman of ISP, who delivered the closing remarks and commended the participants for their active engagement and commitment to continuous professional development.
