On 31 October 2025, Tuan Hj Mohammad Fadzil Hitam, Vice Chairman of ISP, and Dr. Ramesh Veloo, Chief Executive of ISP, held a strategic meeting with SD Guthrie at Carey Island to discuss collaboration on upcoming training and development programmes.

During the meeting, SD Guthrie expressed its support for both the International Senior Management Programme and the International Junior Management Programme. As part of this commitment, SD Guthrie has agreed to nominate and send participants for the 11th International Planters Conference (IPC 2026) and the International Palm Oil Millers Conference 2026 (IPOMC 26), scheduled to be held in April 2026.

This collaboration marks an important step in strengthening leadership development and capacity-building efforts within the plantation sector, and ISPM looks forward to a long-term partnership with SD Guthrie.
