The Planters’ Assembly 2025, organised by ISP Negeri Sembilan Branch, was successfully organised on 6 December 2025 at A’Famosa Resort, Melaka, with the participation of 180 attendees, comprising plantation executives, industry representatives, and strategic business partners from Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Selangor, and Johor. The strong turnout reflected the continued commitment of the plantation community toward upholding professional excellence and strengthening industry relationships.
The event was honoured by the presence of the Guest of Honour, YBhg. Datuk Haji Daud bin Haji Amatzin, whose attendance underscored the significance of recognising planterhood as a respected and long-standing profession. His presence reinforced the values and traditions that have shaped the sector for generations.
Anchored by the theme “Planters by Profession. Leaders by Legacy”, the programme highlighted the discipline, trust, and dedication that define the plantation profession. Throughout the assembly, participants engaged in meaningful conversations and exchanged perspectives that support the continued growth and sustainability of the industry. The gathering also served as an effective platform for networking, collaboration, and strengthening ties across the plantation value chain.
As part of the day’s activities, a golf tournament was held in the afternoon, attracting 42 participants and providing an informal yet impactful avenue for engagement. The evening reception further enriched the experience with a live performance by Oya and Band, creating a warm and cohesive atmosphere for all attendees.
The objectives of the event were centred on recognising the stature, role, and legacy of planters, strengthening professional relationships, fostering networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities, and acknowledging contributors who continuously support the advancement of the plantation sector.
