The ISP Lower Perak Branch successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 19 April 2025, followed by a series of informative talks that enriched members’ understanding of key topics relevant to personal planning and plantation operations.
After the AGM proceedings, participants attended three knowledge-sharing sessions. The first was delivered by a legal practitioner, who presented an insightful talk on will writing and its benefits, highlighting the importance of proper estate planning. This was followed by a presentation by the Research Manager of NPM, who shared valuable information on coconut hybrid development and its potential applications. The final session was conducted by Mr. Bhuvan Raj, who introduced modern approaches to fertilizer and chemical application using drones, demonstrating how emerging technologies can improve efficiency and precision in field operations.
It was a highly productive session overall, with all three speakers providing meaningful knowledge and practical insights for attendees. During the AGM, the current Chairman and Vice Chairman were retained, and three new committee members were appointed to strengthen the branch leadership.
The meeting, chaired by Branch Chairman Mr. Gopalakrishnan, concluded with a fellowship lunch, offering members the opportunity to network and engage in further discussions.
