ISP North West Malaysia Branch MSPO 2.0 Training Program

The ISP North West Malaysia Branch successfully organised the MSPO 2.0 Training Programme on 19 April 2024 at Park Avenue Hotel, Sungai Petani, Kedah. The session was conducted by Mr. Ismail bin Ismadi in collaboration with GGC representative, Mr. Muhammad Syafiq bin Abd Razak, bringing together expertise and practical insights on MSPO requirements.

The training was designed for participants seeking to deepen their understanding of the Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) 2.0 standard, particularly in relation to operational implementation within their respective organisations. Throughout the programme, participants were guided through the interpretation of MSPO requirements, the next steps toward certification, and the alignment of day-to-day estate and mill operations with sustainability obligations.

A key focus of the programme was the explanation of legal and specific compliance requirements under MSPO 2.0, ensuring that attendees gained clarity on both regulatory expectations and industry best practices. The training also provided opportunities for discussion, real-case interpretation, and interactive learning to strengthen participants’ ability to implement MSPO 2.0 effectively.
